MILWAUKEE – Children’s Wisconsin and Triple P – Positive Parenting Program® (Triple P) announce the statewide public launch of Triple P Online, a free resource for Wisconsin parents and caregivers that provides online learning tools to support families and offers a proven, reliable resource to enhance family well-being. Availability of these online tools has grown across the state of Wisconsin reaching 98.6% of our counties and being accessed by over 4,000 families.
Triple P’s online resources are available to all Wisconsin families thanks to funding included in the most recent state budget, an allocation to the Department of Children and Families that was supported by both Governor Evers and the Wisconsin Legislature. Building on a robust network of trained Triple P providers in over 45 agencies around Wisconsin for nearly ten years, the addition of Triple P Online now means access for many more families, including those in the most rural parts of the state where other supports may be difficult to access.
Implemented in partnership with Children’s Wisconsin, Triple P Online resources provide proven, reliable techniques and ideas to help parents and caregivers guide the development and emotional well-being of babies, children, pre-teens, and teenagers – while offering families new ways to connect and enjoy time together.
“Families are facing challenges when it comes to raising a child,” said Brad Thomas, Triple P America’s CEO. “It’s natural for parents to have questions about parenting, and as we continue to realize the impacts that the pandemic had on our children, Triple P Online provides an important tool to Wisconsin families. Thanks to the support provided by both the governor and legislature, Triple P Online offers parents and caregivers across Wisconsin access to flexible, evidence-based tools that can help families experience greater insights and peace of mind.”
Offering the world’s most effective and evaluated parenting resources, Triple P is backed by over four decades of robust, ongoing research and results. It’s proven to help family well-being and to offer credible strategies for parents and caregivers across the U.S., and here at home in Wisconsin.

When parents and caregivers access the Triple P parent website to consider which online support best suits their family, they can also explore offerings from community providers and other resources available in their area.
“Sometimes, in order to give kids the best they deserve, the best method is to provide resources to the parents,” said Jennifer Hammel, director of the Child Abuse Prevention Fund at Children’s Wisconsin. “Children’s Wisconsin is proud to partner with Triple P to help provide those resources in ways that make sense to today’s parents, and in more accessible formats.”
Every parent and caregiver at every experience level can get something out of Triple P Online. The tools are flexible and offer families a variety of ways to build on their existing skills and knowledge. Triple P strategies can be applied and adapted to each family’s needs and values. Even small changes can make a big difference!
“For nearly ten years Triple P has been working with providers around Wisconsin in supporting families,” said Thomas. “With this online programming, we hope to reach even more caregivers in all corners of the state as we and Children’s Wisconsin share this valuable offering. Removing barriers to access is the first step, opening the door for every Wisconsinite family to benefit.”
